Nandi Bear

Nandi Bear is a cryptid often described as a compact, muscular carnivore with a sloped back and heavy forequarters; field reports read like the notes of a naturalist who has glimpsed a creature built for short, brutal bursts of power. Smell: a metallic, iron-tinged musk layered over damp earth and crushed grass. Sound: a low, rolling rumble that can climb into a high, keening shriek at the edge of night.
