Werewolf

Werewolf is a lycanthropic predator that moves with the unsettling union of human intent and lupine power. In the field it registers as a heavy, hot-bodied animal—muscle rippling beneath damp, bristled fur—leaving the air thick with the smell of wet earth, matted fur and a metallic tang. Its voice is a layered chorus: a long, mournful howl that carries across the treeline, followed by close, breathy snuffles and the sharp crack of undergrowth underweighted paws. Night air near its presence often feels paradoxically warmer, as if a living furnace pushes back the cold.
